Everyone’s life is a collection of “episodes,” strung together from birth in seemingly haphazard fashion, always culminating in a common end. We all have a past—hopefully we learn from our past—the record is there for our improvement.  Even so, we are always writing the current chapter—the one that others will read later. We control the plot, the players, the passions, and the ultimate purpose for which we are living.  Sometimes the children ask questions about a life lived before their time.
Perhaps we should pay more attention to clues left by those who have gone the path ahead of us—trouble is, not many with an ordinary existence bother to leave such a record. Still, remembering the everyday events that comprise a lifetime might prove useful…even entertaining. Even more so if it leaves a legacy for the generations to come. That’s what this book begins to do.
